Christmas Bounty Review: Starring Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin & Francia Raisa


This will be kept spoiler free. If you have not seen the movie yet, that is okay. No major story line or plots will be revealed here. We will stick strictly to an 'overall review' and the characters. Let's break it down section by section:

Thoughts - Christmas Bounty aired on ABC Family Tuesday night and surpassed my expectations! This is a highly recommended viewing for all parties. From kids to adults to holiday enthusiasts, it covers every spectrum. On television, it spanned just under two hours. Therefore, the movie does not overstay its welcome not does it skim on details. Here a few of the top reasons why this is a must-see:

Francia Raisa - Wow! Where has this girl been all my life? Truth be told, I had not seen her act before. Well, that all changes after tonight. She was great and the clear highlight of Christmas Bounty. Whatever her next role is, I will be right there interested. Job well done.

Mike Mizanin - Known to WWE fans all over the globe, The Miz was very good here. In the past, wrestling stars stuck to the normal action routine with fight scenes. It was refreshing to see everything mixed together throughout one plot. Mikey "Muscles" was able to display emotion, comedy, seriousness - and yes, some action all into his character.

Supporting Cast - Again, we have to be careful here not to spoil anything. Each of the cast members added to the big picture. There was no time wasting or filler segments. Straight from the get go, it all made sense. During all the twists and turns, everything stayed consistent. That is a big, big, big plus with any kind of entertainment entity. Christmas Bounty really finds the right balance perfectly.

Music - I am a sucker for Christmas music. Most people who know me can attest to that. Just like any movie, there are sights and sounds to go with the presentation. By mixing in some memorable tunes, the experience made all that much better. Who doesn't love Christmas music?

Plot - Can't say much here. The title of the flick kind of gives away enough. Just know that the movie is way more than originally meets the eye...

Overall, I give Christmas Bounty the highly coveted two thumbs up!
